I dont think Dex is trash Bc I compared a 807 weapon with crit/vuln/Dot DEx and 814 All stat Same stats , and the base dmg of my twisting blades was better than the All stat 814 weapon. by atleast 100 dmg with full combo stacks.
There is a side quest you can do on rouge @ lvl 100 which can grant you a 845-850 1h sword with DOT dmg stat/psn dmg i believe and you roll the last stat to Vuln or dex/ Dex increased the base dmg of twisting blades which in turn increases the amount of poison dmg you give each time it hits the enemy , Crits do no make the psn value higher.
Also a Super elite can drop a PSN based Daggger @ item lvl 840 if ur lucky 3 affix. But i prefer to use condmnation for 30x dmg with 3 combo points and 1 sword or dagger, But im starting to think since crit is capped at 200% and is usless for psn dmg, Dagger would be the best option more attack speed and the close dmg implicit actually increases the poison dmg.

At lvl 80, I inflict around 90k psn per hit of twisting blades. with half the paragon board not done nor my glyphs maxed.
Damage over time Stat and + poison damage seem to increase the Poison dmg inflicted my a lot , Same with imbument damage affix on chest/amulet, On amulet it goes up to 42%
I wish the game had a Test dummy to be able to test ur dmg out on. Or a reliable calculator that calcuates imbument dmg

Tbh i never tested poison much just damage types via paragon board.
Was all your testing in pvp? You mentioned 90k on twisting blades which leads me to think its pve testing?
