my theory is that those items were the reason trading is limited, they were meant to force people to grind like crazy


unfortunately blizzard underestimated peoples common sense, as no one is going to grind this boring shit of a game for 100 years (this isnt a hyperbole, its the actual number from my math :cry: ) just to get one

Even with trading they’re still pointless. With how rare they are you would be looking at 10s of thousands of dollars to buy any of them

I almost don't play myself, so this information won't hurt me, but I'm following different aspects of this "amazing" game.

Surprising? There’s more rare shit in D2 than these, but D2 has bots to do the dirty work.

More rare than zod is such an understatement that it doesn’t do justice to how nonexistent these items are

The last time I checked there were 2 confirmed shako drops in about 500 million cumulative hours of playtime in d4 across the entire community. And blizzard said they are happy with the drop rate of these items

way worse actually :wacko: for example ive noticed that half of the people that played d2 with me got a zod rune, while in poe about 80~90% never got a mirror despite playing for 5~10 years. so mirror is rarer. then i remembered that ggg said that they usually get a mirror drop a day or such (in total, although game did have less players then). now d4 had more players at the time that shako could drop, and STILL it needed like what, a week for it..something like that. basically shako is a few orders of magnitude rarer drop than poe mirror :mellow:
