It's kinda odd they think they need to design something new for endgame in order for there to be leaderboards. They didn't see the need for them right now.. People don't care.

They needed to just toss some up for leveling and nm dungeons. It's pretty bad a third party site can put up a leaderboard in a weekend and they can't or will not.

A lot of the hate I believe comes from the "fallacy of time". Most if not all of us on here are comparing it to D2. Most of us were kids or teenagers when D2 came out.

On the other hand, comparing the two is apples and oranges. A kid today is gonna look at d2 and think it's trash, same kid might enjoy d4.

Myself, I've hardly played D4 and I generally get bored within an hour.

Imo here's what D4 did better

- Graphics

TLDR D4 is a mediocre at best game

I just uninstalled. got to annoyed with the broken level scaling bs couldn't beat the capstone didn't feel like trying too much harder. plus lack of other people and all my friends have quit. game seems broken af as it goes from so easy you start to fall asleep to impossible, nothing in between.

Currently I think D4 is the best ARPG by a landslide and still has much room for improvement.

However I think Lost Ark has a better endgame and would be better than D4 if it wasn't completely ruined by P2W and insanely long/grindy/boring horizontal content.

Maybe PoE 2 has a chance to overcome D4 and I'll try it but quite frankly I doubt it.
I assume they will be keeping up with the bloat, P2W stashes, and Math of Exile spreadsheet shenanigans.
It will be nowhere near as polished of a game either.
