It’s definitely not fine

Patch has changed me being excited for s1 to me not playing s1

Theses 'buffs' would make sense if resistance stats weren't useless yes ,have you played sorc so far? I used to be able to 'soak' some dmg in mid nm 50 ,im getting 2 shotted now.... there is no buff to sorcerers

Cdr was our main defense. We had to run 4 defensive skills to operate that all have cool downs.

Good points about this patch:
-Helltide when they actually fix the problem is goin to worth the time.

-the cap req lvl of ancestral gear loot, this makes more valuable the farm With lvl 81-100 characters since not all could buy early lvl 100 items. (Best change)


- Dungeons can give you 20 to 40 ancestral items per run.

- New nightmare dungeons (Uldur, Gasph and Ironhold) super nice to run.

Bad things for cry babies:
- my char now hits 16m instead of 18m

- My char dies fast when I Yolo play as Rogue/Sorc and go all in into elite packs.

- They fix my dmg from bugs exploits.

Only real bad nerf is for us with 2+ acc and want to lvl fast alts.

Found a way to level kinda fast but takes more time than before so ye, this is the only bad thing, but if you consider season 1 we all start lvl 1 so who cares about early Power Level, plus someone is going to find a way to power level, just wait :rofl:

Was this after the patch? I haven’t played in a couple days but I know last week I run circles doing the events or bouncing back and forth between two for collecting cinders. Can get all you need in about 10-20mins depending on the event. I usually just grab the mysteryschest and bounce back to doing nm dungeons.

I dunno about you, but I find all of those skills useful.

And cdr didn't take that big a hit.

Also, Occy + Raiment means pretty much constant 30% dr from teleport and it's fun as hell to play.

But everyone's too married to the build guides to even consider a change in any playstyle.

Prolly the type of player who has a Tal Sorc in D2R and think he’s good. Truth is, they ruined nice survivability skills on rogue and Druid. They nerfd stun aspect that ruins the stun flurry build. They nerfd down tornado and it wasn’t written in the patch like many other nerfs. If you’re happy to start over every week and play what they want you to play, good for you.

The biggest problem with the patch is that everyone logged in yesterday and generally felt significantly worse in almost every way. Regardless of the minmaxing and number crunching, on even the most casual level, we logged in yesterday and immediately felt downgraded.

I only have a 75 rogue and I was starting to feel really good and the game was fun. I can still play the game, but I logged in yesterday and just felt worse at everything. That’s a really lame feeling to have in a game where you are supposed to progress as you put the time and effort in.

I’ve played blizzard games for decades so I’m used to random nerfs and buffs, but this was the biggest random mass nerf I’ve ever felt in a game before. All bad and no good. It just feels bad and kinda makes me say fuck this game.
