They nerfed the bone splintering aspect but that’s about it. The initial spear will still hit like a truck and the return shards will hit for about 1/2 of what it was hitting before. But most monsters died from the initial spear lol.

Tbh, this is just a safety blanket for Blizzard to know they did their job in "nerfing bone spears" but...it still does millions of crit dmg at the initial spear lol. The splintering is just visual effects to make it cooler.

Diablo 4 will not " gain " player base from this. I can tell you that much. And yes Barb is absolute trash now.

Read the patch notes. If anything, they got buffed in the useless, non-meta skills but I don't see any serious nerfs at this patch. They were already nerfed too hard prior to this patch anyways. Wish ww could get buffed.

splinter is what is killing lilth, now its 10x harder to kill her with a necro now
