Barbs are the most broken pieces of shit in PvP. It's laughable how terribly overtuned they are.

Can you think of any counters to the Hota Barb.. Like a good Duo? (I’ll be playing with a friend)

My poison tb rogue with certain aspects has been able to kill Hota barbs

You can kill them if you can kite them well enough and wait out their bullshit. Most barb players are fucking trash so this works. When they are mid to high tier players though it's basically impossible

Druids are also REALLY bullshit in PvP. They can get permanent bulwark which gives permanent unstoppable and a crazy high barrier. Also a fuck load of DR with permanent werewolf form. They do like no damage so you can get away from them after you give up on trying to kill them but God damn a properly built Druid is actually immortal.

I just watched a hota barb and bulwark Druid try to PvP. They just stood there doing literally nothing to eachother for a solid 45 seconds before just walking away from eachother.

I think that pretty much says everything about the state of PvP in this garbage balanced game.

Not going to respond to every1 but it's pretty obvious the people complaining about pvp just don't do well, to put it politely.

Hopefully hota is fixed by the time season 1 comes out, and bulwark as well- otherwise pvp is a blast

Pretty much like any game upon release.. Hopefully they focus on PvP soon. They mentioned quite the opposite for the time being.. All focus on PvE for the moment until they get it dialed in a bit better

And I’m guessing the Immortal Druid will be brought back to earth tomorrow in the patch.. We’ll see



I’m thinking this might be the best counter so far… I wonder if a duo of Rogue would work well (it’ll be much easier to copy paste my build for my girl ) I really should probably just go 1 Barb 1 Rogue though (depending on patch tomorrow)

PvP can be fun when the pvp zone doesnt seem like im playing on 90s dial up lol.
Literally can play for hours with console players doing high tier NM dungeons, but as soon as I step into the pvp zone.. 90% of the time I just hear that dial up sound in the back of my head as I watch my guy stutter step back n forth across the screen lol.

a good wolf storm druid can tank hota for days and kill em.

A really high damage rogue or a hit & run poison rogue can also do the job.

Basically don't play necro or sorc lol

Pvp area so full of trash newbs that get one hit like less than 1/10 encounters are meaningfull
