96 preseaon, current seasonal character is 83 and its been about a week now where i have zero motivation to log in...

i have been extremely skeptical about this game since announced. told myself id give it a year, and it doesnt even look like i will make it to season 2.... haha.

the failure can be summed up to blizzard being disconnected from what makes a good game + them holding back on purpose so they have easy things to release in upcoming seasons, making the current state of the game
extremely shallow. or atleast, thats my take. oh yea, and the abundance of predatory mechanics to try get more of my money. however, i am willing to look past monetization, if the game is actually good.

im 100$ in, why the hell should i have to wait until season X until the game is worth playing? (rhetorical, im not asking you directly)

blizzard messed up releasing a beta game... alot of players wont return. and blizzard messed up making the s1 theme a joke. why the hell wasnt s1 a banger? epic stupid mistake.... again, rhetorical questions.

Does last epoch have items? Free trading?

It was introduced recently due to beta feedbacks. They introduced a Trading Faction that you can join allowing trading. If this isn't of any interest, the other faction increases loot drop.
It's the perfect middle ground between traders and SSF players. You can find more details on their forum.
