Agreed, I once played hardcore and I was about 5 hours in. Then the butcher spawned and it was over.

I was talking more about technical side of things - game keeps crashing constantly on wide variety of systems. But yeah, gameplay side butcher thing and some weird oneshot mechanics are still there even after expansion release - it's modern blizzard, what more to say.

Never played d4 myself, can anyone put this into context?

Do you believe he actually invested a lot of time into the game or is there ways around this (e.g. through money)?

this season with the broken spiritborn, if you have the money you can max a char easily and do 150 pit in under than 5 min so dont think he play 100+h hours to equip is char but it's easy if someone give him equipment
