Does it change anything if I do uber duriel in torment 1 or 4 ?

most people save their mats and do it on t4 for higher drop rate

Higher drop rate the higher you go but it seems pretty negligible

The reason the drop rate seems low is because you can craft ubers, every time you get an uber you already can pretty much craft whichever one you want if you already had 1 spark so it was done this way to balance it, plus if you don't like that one you salvage it for another spark and wait for another to drop then again you immediately roll whichever you want and repeat. Pretty much can target farm the one you want every single time a new one drops

Supposedly higher tiers have higher drop chances and in T4 Duriel drops also larger quantity of items (1-2 more compared to T3)

I got my first mythic from t4 duriel and my friend as well. There seems to be some strange inconsistency. When you kill the ubers first time, they are easy. Upon 2nd or 3rd time, they suddenly hit like a truck and one shot you

I had similar experience, now 100+ ubers in and just 3 mythicals (2 dropped probably during the first 10-20 runs)

Update from Yesterday:
I thought I'd do some t4 tormented Andariel. First time was easy peasy as always. Second time, she was about to die and cast the totems. After destroying them, she immediatly cast another 3 totems without going out of invulnerable phase. Her ground attack and the fire line close in an angle you cannot escape from both unscathed.
She did that over and over again.
Varshan in T4 was also noticably harder the second time in the sense that his barrier is intact most of the time. He also hit like a truck with poison dmg.

Torment tiers add 1 additional unique drop, which indirectly increases your mythic drop chance.

No reason to farm on anything other than t4 at this point.
