seems like a lot, but hopefully fun. Looking forward to getting actually more than 1 mythic.

Same here, last time, I had a grand affix grandfather and one shako only. Leveling is supposed to be harder as well, so no rushing from 1-100 like the previous season.

Necromancer class changes, my favourite class. I am of the opinion that D4 made the best armymancer in all franchises with the focus on golem or shadow mages.

They all crap now go for stat gems better

Necromancer needed a long time before it was half decent (if we are forgetting about bone spear for a moment). And once minions (esp. golems) got strong for 1 season (not even overpowered) it got the nerf hammer treatment.
I hope minions will soon rise again. The AI is still subpar to some other games. It's a pity they can't be further tweaked.

Shadow necro has been buffed and I have to say I really like the concept of farming everything as an armymancer / shadow minion / golem mancer then going to the high dps version of bone spirit. Bone spirit necro isn't a spammable braindead char either. You have to play smart with him. I managed to beat T7 with him last season.

T7 last season?

This season hasn't ended. This season then.

I dont think you can generalize it that easily.
There will FOR SURE be op Runewords to combo.

However, all in all it would be pretty great if normal gems would still be used for the majority of gear. Rune Words are way more specific and impactful, while normal Gems are more like a general stat increase with less specific impact.

The most desired runes, if rare enough - which is almost never the case in post 2012 Diablo Games - could also be valuable currency items.
