This would end barbs in general... that is alot of damage loss... and the core damage isn't anywhere near enough to do anything past pit level 50 even with elite gear.

I think it is some missunderstanding about barb main stat damage bonus, it still works.

But as always blizzard don't understand what they are doing, so you might be right. But I still don't think it is that bad.

I personnaly play ww dd in hc and nothing seems to have changed from the click bait video i saw

Barb is the tankiest it should not be the best damage doer on top of that

That being said at end game with geeat gear if he does say the third of what he does now that is still insane


Note this season i started as necro it was the next big thing
Ended as barb and there is no comparison.
Lesson learned :I will go barb next season

they removed barbs innate 10% dr, nerfed our dr and life by alot

For what it’s worth barbs had like 3000% more damage than most other classes.

Barbs receiving a 50% damage nerf I don’t think is as drastic as you’re thinking. It still wouldn’t surprise me at all if barbs are a top 2 or 3 class. Just maybe not the clear cut #1 anymore.

I do wonder how good rogues will be though since they had some builds arguably on par with barbs and got buffed and not nerfed.

they actually didnt, 3000% is 30x... barb wasnt that much more than rouge tbh, not even double on optimized vs optimized... hell andys rouges were getting 1.5b ticks


the nerf to gushing wounds ALONE is more than a 50% nerf... we got about a 80% nerf in my opinion, builds hitting for 1b will now be down around 200m, rob says 100m.

They weren’t that much stronger than rogue but definitely were that much stronger than most of the other classes. That’s why I singled out rogue as likely the new strongest class.

The gushing wounds nerf hit hard.

I have no idea why they nerfed walking Arsenal. Nobody uses that skill.

On paper I actually think things look like they could be fairly balanced (rogue aside potentially).

I just don’t think it’s looking nearly as bleak for barbs as some want to claim. But we’ll just have to see. There are always things that surprise us.

bleed barb wont clear over 125 anymore, im just hoping to still be able to speed clear 90s, able to do 111s in 90 sec atm

that 10% innate dr was removed before start of s4, the life reduce is coming in the form of imposing presence nerf but its actually very tiny, yes bleed bash is dead rob covered this weeks ago tho when season 5 ptr was released as hemorrage got a 45x cap and they made bash tempers smaller, the real killer came in his next video tho when we learned the ripping aspect that applies bleed does not benefit from the new unique coming for basic skills that added like 200x multiplyer for next season, we also learn tho many aspects we've been using all season like edgemasters/moonrise/adpatibility have been do nothing for bleed, he made a video direct bash will be fine for barb right with ww maybe a tad above but behind flay.
