I won't lie, release of the game to me was the best of this game. The difficulty and exploration of builds.

OBO that is long past. What do you guys think about current state of game? I'm more of a dagger rogue player. Is it fun or is it just faceroll? Any reasonable progression of difficulty in the game?

well its getting better but much more to be done and its still 2 easy but i have enjoyed it each season like 100-300 hours, even tho im pretty much arpg nolifer :DDDD

If u read no guides then (for me atleast) there are challenges. If u read guides and get outside help then theres not that much of a challenge.

aside from leveling your character, the only real endgame progression to be made is item finding and building with temper/enchant/masterwork.
the underlying issue is that there isnt jack shit to do once your geared and upgrades are few and far between. more helltides? lol or more mediocre boss kills where you spend more time resetting the dungeon then actually fighting the boss?
this turd needs alot more polishing.

since it wouldnt cost you anything, i do think revisiting the game is currently worth it since they released loot 2.0. but dont get your hopes up... haha

I definitely think it’s in a much better place than early on.

The game has gotten substantially easier overtime but imo it’s also gotten a lot more fun. All of the difficulty has basically been pushed to the endgame for better or worse with the pits.

This was the most fun season and fruitful for me in term making FG. I make 45+K this season, but spent 33k+ back. I spent 16k on pre ordering the XPAC.

Being late in the season, I spent of of the times at the Field of the Hatred.

I might give the game a feel this weekend

It’s fun you get max level easily and decent power to start grinding for min max gear just as fast as getting grushed in d2 lod. Only difference is there’s no more grinding for max level which is kinda annoying but I don’t mind. I would start with next season launch

if you like d3 and only plan to play for a few days/hours max then it's fine

otherwise not worth it
