Having the tempers be the brick of your item is actually the most knuckledragging smoothbrain shit blizzard has done in recent updates.

The least expensive, arbitrarily capped tempering design is pointless.

If they want to keep trade alive, add a less intrusive way of "bricking" an item - but not hitting a 200% dmg increase is just asinine and makes an item 100% unusable.
