so since ive downloaded d4 ive had no sound on the game and its the only game that does it
yes all the sound options in game are on and turned up and set to default
yes my laptop sound is turned on and turned up

what can i do to fix my sound issue thanks

Hey bro if you press the windows key and hover over the program, is there an icon with a red x through it? If so you might have muted just the game at some point and it saved that setting over.

No didn't see an icon with a red x

Anyone else have any ideas how to fix this issue

Try uninstalling, reboot, and then reinstall. Or maybe just reboot to see if it fixed.

Try this...I found it from the battle net.


"Hey everyone, try this:

Right click on sound icon which is on the right bottom
Click volume mixer/control
You will see your main device and other apps(discord,steam,diablo4 etc.) each of them has slider to control sound.
Find diablo 4, check whether sounds ON or not. Mine was off, idk why…"

yep mine is on so that wasnt the issue i guess either

At desktop:

Right click -> display setting -> sound -> choose your sound output device.

yeah thats already selected correctly as well this is highly frustrating
