i sold 2 items to the same guy for 500mil gold. the guy throws 2billion gold in the trade and accepted. i obviously take this not sure what is happening.

5 minutes later, the same guy requested to join my party and throws 3 billion more gold in the trade and hits accept. wtf is going on? no yellow was added to the screen. i was just given 4.5 billion gold for no reason.

the player had a korean name

the same guy sent me a message and said he gave me 3billion gold by mistake so i gave it back to him

edit: but technically he gave me 1.5 billion more gold to begin with. this is the craziest shit ive seen so far

Yeah, you're going to have an even harder time, because chances are he was delivering someone their RMT gold. I'd avoid any further contact and take screenshots of the interaction just in case...

technically i did nothing wrong. but i can definitely see how blizz would see it differently since they are on the outside looking in.

i still dont understand what happened but i no longer have the 3 billion gold so hopefully that is good enough to keep blizzard from taking action

There are multiple dupes active right now,you can buy 1b gold for 3-4$ , 100% duped,no wonder guys is throwing billions around like its nothing.

so you got that 3 bil and then gave it back? you might see that as a net zero, but blizz will see it as you trading 3 bil twice
