PvP objective based 20v20 BG style strategy wars for clans to fight over and control territories.
Clan hall with lots of building and decorating options.

I think "endgame" in general is the big issue but that kind of includes itemization, lack of content, scaling and repetitiveness.

Itemization isn't great but good enough for now. The issue is that itemization stops at 70-75. You play a few hours in world tier 4 and the chances of finding an upgrade beyond that are minimal. In any arpg I have ever played the moment I quit has always been that moment when the effort to upgrade ratio becomes too bad. This is made worse due to scaling because the only power to be gained beyond that is through paragon but the gained power is just reverted due to the scaling. So you end up grinding the same thing over and over without really gaining power.With no real end game goals you just end up quitting.

An arpg is supposed to be about items. Tell me one single time you get excited about a drop unless you're a druid. 95% of the uniques you find are absolutely useless and nobody enjoys sifting thru a sea of yellows looking for 1% better vul DMG. Speaking of that..... The mods on items are absolutely brain dead. All the different damage types.... Why do I need 4 different mods for cold DMG? Why do I need damage types based on where I'm standing? The mods are uninspired and boring. Where's the 'cannot be frozen'? Same with feared and all the other cc? They say there's a cc problem and a problem with damage scaling too much. Well adding these mods to some of those trash uniques would fix both. You don't wanna be cc? Ok well you're gonna have to Sacrifice some DMG to enjoy that qol. Problem solved.
