i remember having fun playing with groups when diablo 3 came out. i dont think i ever played solo in diablo 3.

diablo 4 however has been 80% solo playthrough and not by choice, because there is no choice. there is no option to play with other people. you have to set that up through social media first. horrid game design.

tbh the only time the game seems solo is doing dungeons and i rarely do them. always plenty of people around when im roaming the world doing quests and events

They want a few QOL fixes and matchmaking. For $100 this should have been in the game already.

quite frankly the game feels completely single player and void of any community. i see people in town afk. and the garbage worldboss that last a grand total of 2 min.

its cute that you think your playing with other people as you play by yourself. blizzard did a great job at creating a false sense of a open world with other players in it.

Damn what if they added auto party feature?

When you enter an event you are given the option to party with players around you.

Pissed again that would be fun...
