America wants its own lithium mine so we can stop paying fair price for it to other countries. They would rather let immigrants mine it here (the reason they passed a bill to allow states to be able to give IDs to people not even legally in our country [yet].)

The issue is that land where we are going to mine is sacred to SEVERAL tribes and also the location of at least 3 mass murders committed by the pale faces earliest settlers.

But even after 2 years of protest about the fact the fast tracked this agenda during the covid apocalypse and only spoke with 3(fucking THREE) of the tribes that will be affected (out of over a DOZEN tribes with claims to the land)

Meanwhile we are supposed to be in the age of enlightenment and everyone's feelings and opinions are supposed to matter. But I guess that only applies to people with enough voices to matter. And clearly the pitiful remaining population of true Native Americans doesn't count (you know, since whitey obliterated over 93% of the people who really lived as Americans before European trash came over and just said "I like this place, we will take it from these dirty flea bitten savages")
