because ggg killed hc leagues.
no dc timer slider, ssf league tournies, overtuned stupid mechanics they don't address for weeks, and most importantly you funnel into standard instead of sc temp league.
if you went to sc temp leagues when you died in hc temp leagues people would actually try out hc, but no new player is starting hc and most hc players quit or play ssf.
