im talkin the story line man. i think i needed to kill more and do side quests. now im stuck grinding

By the 2nd or 3rd planet I always find I'm intentionally skipping quests because I am way overleveled. Do you do the Space/WZ/FP dailies?

im so new to the game im still trying to learn everything only level 15 so far

Do these, and do bonus quests. Side quests as well. Those will get you gear and levels.

Big thing though is to find a way to gain xp that you enjoy, and do it. Then you can power through any aspects of the game you find less enjoyable. Or just flat out skip them.
