Im not sure what class to try

I played alot of wow and dota (d2 too ofcourse)

Normally i go range due to australian ping but since there are aussie servers melee finally seems viable!

I am mainly interested in pvp and after a bursty class/spec that is not so group dependent... any suggestions?

Thinking about a looking at a scoundrel/operative at the moment


also is trade via jsp active?
Ive quit wow for good but have a few hundred k which i could net me alot of fg to use
but if people arent selling credits here im probably better off just selling the gold for $

Judging by your very limited description, I would actually recommend a shadow/assassin.

There is some trading, but not very much, just look at the forum and you can see.

Go marauder or juggernaut dps ( both sith warrior advanced) which are Sentinel and guardian equivalent of Republic.
Nicest class in my opinion, not group dependant.

feels pretty squishy atm
but most of the skills towards the top of the tree look pretty good

You get tankier by the end, since you get more life, and you get Cloak of pain ( reduces incoming damage by 20%) and saber ward (50% defense chance +25% of absorbing force + tech attacks)
Also you get undying rage ( can't die for 4 seconds) and an invibility for 4 seconds.
I enjoy playing it
