almost like the game too much lol
with everything being voice acted i have to remind my self that there are poopy quests that i can skip

the pvp is decent but with only the three maps i cant see myself doing it a lot

also it seams like the lvling is almost too easy with getting dbl exp for logging off in cantina

the only major issue i have is when you craft your companions will fail the missions it's very frustrating when u spend almost 1500 on a quest to get some bs items and the come back after 20 minutes and are like "sorry"
drives me insane

the space missions are a joke and really are just an excuse to do nothing while online
you could easily get to high lvls by doing all space missions each day, then logging off in the cantina or ship


overall think its a solid game that has a lot of room for improvement

however the way this game is built it almost seems like they might have been better off just making kotor 3
i find myself thinking i would much rather have 3 of my own companions in a quest that the 3 people im questing with
but i LOVED kotor 1 and 2 so ofc i want more of that.

also having khem as an inquisitor companion until the end of tatooine is some bull shit. he is the most boring mindless companion that brings absolutely NO depth to the story at all
unlike the companions in the kotor games that seemed a lot more real.
that may just be because im a inquisitor tho. my first 2 companions are bad lol


overall 8.5/10
worth the sixty bucks for startup and 30 days free, maybe continue afterwards maybe not

knights of the old republic...

swtor is the third in the series of Bioware Star wars games

while the first game Knights of the old republic (kotor) feeds HEAVILY into the storyline of swtor
the second one doesn't seem to have any influence into swtor at all

they were both single player games on xbox original and pc
they used the "now common" bioware party system of 3 people with you and more waiting somewhere while you do everything
and the combat is a mix between dragon age 1 and traditional WoW mmo style

Both Games are on My Top 3 best Games of all time list lol
if you have not played these i recommend doing so ASAP

however they did not age well AT ALL and they look terrible gfx wise (now, they both looked great when they come out)
but i still play both often

and unlike most games, they kept the dev teams together i believe and they are working hard on producing new things for it (some coming later this year)

unlike other games, which make the game, neglect it, then make new games, or "expansions" that you have to pay for.... lol

If I go out and buy it, will it I have to buy a new game in te future or will this be the only game?

But diablo 1 but then there was diablo two

They will most likely be adding expansions in a couple years if the game continues to grow. They followed the WoW style, might as well keep with it but adding more levels, and planets.

Overall, I was expecting something different. It is a great solo RPG, I had a blast with the story on my first character. I feel it falls short of MMO standards.
