gonna install and start playing this weekend.
looking for peoples views on best server for pvp and which side.
also lf a guild on that server or mabye just some new friends that are pvp minded and skilled. to talk on skype/vent with.

also is there "arena" yet or just battlegrounds and world pvp

they won't be adding arenas, prolly rated warzones

Choose a high populated PvP server, any really, they are all great when it comes to PvP.
Also, it doesn't matter really if you're Empire or Republic, it's really 50/50 if you end up with dumb people or not.

That's kind of dumb. I feel like some sort of arena system would fit extremely well into the lore.

You're right, it sure does.
But who knows, it's still really to early to say that they won't add such a system.
