Does anyone know how you get the Legacy XP?

Also, what exactly is it going to do? I know there is nothing official, but what is the rumor mill putting out?

i thought legacy was when you got your last name and alts and stuff? dunno really havent payed attention

You get a surname that is account wide and can earn xp towards your legacy level. The actual bonuses are not yet implemented. Think of it like how you can see the escape pod on your ship but can't use it yet.

Yeah, ive noticed that. If my ship blows up I better be getting a Star Destroyer to replace it.

I have my Legacy and everything, but was wondering what kind.of.bonuses will be available and how to stack xp for it now. Is it related to quest progeession, class or regular xp?

Basically give perks for when you level other alt characters. You get legacy exp for killing mobs and doing quests etc.
Also it give you a last name for all characters on that server.

In prefences you can change it from surname to a title aswell
and your quite correct =]

If I had to guess I'm thinking his will give basically this games equivalent to Heirloom items in WoW.
