I was an avid wow player/d2 player and almost always went for the "assassin" type class so for in diablo 2 it was the assassin; and in wow it was the rogue. I looked at the equivalent in SWTOR; but don't have much input aside from a level 1-5 vid i watched on it.

Could anyone give me some feedback about how the "rogue-like" classes are in SWTOR; and how the caster specific classes are as well. Thanks!

Im playing a jedi guardian right now at level 25, and due to lack of skills being frequently introduced I'm getting fed up with the boringness. I've been using the same skills and rotation since lvl 10, which kinda sucks.

I rolled a sith inquisitor the other day since the server que was too high and it was pretty awesome, I'm considering switched to sith but there are way too many kids.. and in the end I will essentially wind up with the same problem.

have a lvl 50 sith inquis.
and a lvl 42 sith juggo

and id honestly say roll a merc for healing insted of the inquis,

and ensure that you're going to be tanking if you roll a juggo because the dps is just terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible.

my two cents

whats the population split looking like? 50:50? 30:70? i know it varies per server; but just looking for a relative average.

Are sith assassins garbage? That's definitely my style of play.

assassins are the second highest dps class.. roughly.

but they are also very very good tanks

the whole, innervate -- lifetap is kind of a jokes mechanic.
but its nice to be able to shield

by all means, the healer is great. i just think mercs are more effective.

inquis are still very needed

guess i am mostly speaking from low levels. i could heal fine in pve as bh, but pvp cast times were so long, or shooting at people would barely heal them, and the only fast cast spell had a cooldown
