Whats a good build for a Sith Sorcerer. Idk whether I want to go healing or lightning or a hybrid, so I am interested in hearing all builds. Thanks

To heal you use .. Healing spec.?
To dps / pvp you use the Right spec

really depends what you wanna do, i know end game hybrid builds arent the best but some are fairly viable while leveling. just read over everything and pick what you think would be the most helpful.
thats the best advice anyone could give you

this game is different than games like diablo in that the abilities in the skill tree sort of suck. Its like 1% or 3% and i don't feel like i gain anything from it. Also i don't really understand what a lot of the skills do

there are skills that are obvious, but what does it mean that you suffer less push back when casting lightning strike? Its not that you physically get knocked back, so what does that mean.

so you see the channel bar that pops up when you cast force lightning

on occasion when you get hit, it will sort of take a chunk out of it, or in MMO's its called pushback. reducing the duration of the channel time while taking damage.
that tallent essentially increases your chance of dealing the full lightning strike dps while being hit.

also most of the time it is only melee damage that can deliver pushback, not sure if this is the case in swtor.

pushback is what makes it take 5 seconds to cast a spell instead of 3 seconds when mobs are hitting you.
