to add something so you can start a character at level 10. starting new characters is a huge ass pain because those first couple hours are just a complete waste of time

Waste of time? I'm loving the starting zones. The story is something I actually care about, unlike WoW.

So far I've gotten a Jedi Knight to 10, and a Sith inquisitor to 10. I think I'm guna get all of them to 10 and decide which I like best

Only problem I see is having to do the same story up to level 10 to choose a different advanced class. But I don't think it's a big deal doing the first 10 still.

edit: I guess I don't know if AC stories are different.

i played Dark age of camelot, once you got 50, you could /level any character to level 20.

was super helpful, made it so if you get to 40 something and disliked your class, you could get level 50, then just /level a 20 and find a character you actually enjoyed.

the game is practically pointless prior to getting your ship. There's not much difference between Jedi Knight/Consular so aside from a couple class quests you're repeating everything you've already done, it's such a waste of time. It's practically a tutorial.

Maybe if you're doing Jedi, then smuggler. Or sith then bounty hunter. But Knight/Consular are the exact same quests other than the class-specific ones which are like 5% of the total quests you do. Tython is straight up boring.

Sith Inquisitor was a fucking blast for me.
