For people having problems with them, log into your sever in the morning or late at night and leave it on so you don't have to wait over an hour to play. Isn't a solution for people who turn their computer off but for those who don't its a simple solution.

If you log on to your character apparently you get logged out though if you don't move, but I haven't been logged out sitting in the character selection screen yet.

I've tried this, it eventually gives you Server Error 03 or some variant, possibly by design so that people can't do exactly what you have suggested. After you click okay on the error you have to wait in a queue.

How long are those Qs?

On the heavy servers they can last over an hour but most servers are 10-30 minutes.

yeah my server is typically an hour or so wait. although somtimes it does got pretty fast. I know there are other servers that must be jam packed and talk around 2 hours to get in
