The things I do for my cousin <_< Been paying 15$ a month so my cousin can play SWTOR (I'm such a nice guy aren't I) I haven't touched the game since like a month after release. If I get D3 and possibly buy some League of Legends shit then I might end up cancelling my sub I can afford d3 xD

I don't why people think because they enjoy the beta they'll enjoy the real thing. The only people we had bashing SWTOR during the beta were trolls, everyone (Including people who said Wowclone) said it was amazing.

GW2 has a lot more people talking negative about it during the beta than TOR did.

Niche.

I got my invite. Going to give it away when I get the email that gives me the client. Not interested with D3 in 2 months.

Blizzard claims SWTOR is responible for continued dip in subscriptions. If Blizzard, the largest and most important MMO maker admits SWTOR has made a dent in their subscriptions, that's a huge statement. If it wasn't substantial, they would never mention it.

Activision Blizzard revealed last month that the number has fallen to 10.2 million, down 100,000 from November 2011.

In a new interview, WoW producer John Lagrave has confirmed that the decline is at least partially attributable to Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Not sure where you're going with this.

Because the game has to be out for it to affect it? SWTOR was affecting Blizzards subscription rates for over a year.

And Blizzard would never say a rival was completely affecting their sales. The fact they even mention them means it scares Blizzard, and may make them try to push Titan (Almost certainly WoW 2) for 2014.

By that logic, you are scared of wow because you brought it up in conversation.

Let me get this straight, blizzard lost less than ONE percent since november (Less than one percent over 5 months) and it's PARTIALLY attributed to SWTOR. I don't see anything worth mentioning making this game so great.

That's not my logic.

Well your attempt to "get it straight" failed miserably.

They've been losing people to TOR for well over a year (A game doesn't have to be released to lose people do it), most people who quit WoW for TOR quit before Nov '11. If TOR didn't significantly affect their subscriptions, they wouldn't even mention it. They say partially so it doesn't sound like they're threatened, but partially can mean 99% you realize.

99% of the subs lost since november doesn't even equal a percentage of their subs.
You're also trying to make Swtor sound so huge when there are other big games around the corner.
League of legends is stealing people from every game. d3 is announced now, but people have quit wow waiting for it when the anniversary was announced (including me) Guild wars 2 hype, etc.

You're trying to oversell a game that doesn't deserve the praise that you're giving. you're trying to hard to make it seem like this is driving wow into the ground when it isn't. WoW is doing well, anyone who says 10.2 million subs is not doing well is just not very smart.

You're trying to bash a game and I must say even the whiners last month did better than you.
