is this game worth buying? ill most likely play d3 full time when it comes out, but is this a good game to have a bit of fun on in the mean time? also what date was it released?

This game is awesome and so well done considering it JUST CAME OUT like come on in a few months....

Patch 1.2 won't be out for a couple more weeks but it's looing absolutely massive. Adding and fixing so much.

E: Especially with regards to Legacy stuff, race unlocks for all classes so you could make a Chiss sith if you get a Chiss character to level 50. If you already have 8 characters and no room you can purchase races with credits, giving some more use for them.
