You don't know what niche means. Theres a reason most people even some of GW2 biggest supporters are weary of the game. Its appeal is not to the average MMO player, or most gamers.

it appeals to every gamer that wants to focus on PvP

it appeals to gamers who want new things

it appeals to gamers who want non linear shitty questing

and from what I've seen the game is VERY HYPED more so than SWTOR ever was and considering how shit of a game SWTOR is... your arguement is invalid

niche = fitting a specific role

GW2 just revolucionizes what is an MMO

wow and wowclone players will still be able to jump into GW2 you can't call it niche because it's like nothing we've ever seen

I come from playing wow 2900 warrior wotlk and this game looks insane to me

WOTLK sold and okay not 2900 =) hovered around 2800 ish warriors weren't that good I only played retail for one season of WOTLK rest pservs cus didn't feel like paying

And in regards to a product, niche refers to a market that is limited and not appealing to most. Which is exactly what GW2 is. The GW fanboys just use revolutionary, when everyone knows its niche.

It isn't that many. It is a niche MMO and everyone will see that once it comes out and it can't keep more than 500,000 people at it's best.

just because you decided to play SWTOR a game that most people agree is a let down and average at best doesn't mean that a lot of people arn't going to play GW2

GW2 will greatly surpass's SWTOR's subscriber count
