It's irrevelent since the vast majority all think you're wrong. This poll proves that.

You can also find someone who thinks a great game is bad. Doesn't mean they're right, and I laugh at the reasons for why people think it's bad. Can find people who hate Zelda, Half Life 2, Mass Effect 2, GTA IV Skyrim, ect. Doesn't change the fact these are great games. And just because there's a few vocal people who don't like this game doesn't make it any diffrent.

Implying only the people who are vocal hate the game. No one could ever hate it without being vocal about it.

The people who hate games tend to be vocal about it. Are you going to sit that and even try to claim a sizable minority agree with you. For the amount of people that play this game, virtually none agree with you. That has to be known, because people need to realize people like you are the very small but extremely visable minority.

guild wars is shit

as is a rehashed world of warcraft with shitty quality for a higher price.



All I can say is the next month will tell.

But please, do tell, give me of list of the brilliant innovations this game is getting recognition for.

Y, not much creativity at quests, always collecting some things, killing some stuff, destroying some stuff etc., all the bonus quests look the same, only the mobs and main bosses have more and more hp but thats about it.
So the game is very repetititive there. Well my first interesting and fun bonus quest (at lvl 34 ) was when you needed to switch the music in a balmorran cantina to the kotor 2 ost^^.


Well at least those (and I remember there were zounds of ppl moaning why it is an mmo and why didnt make bioware kotor 3) who wanted it to be a single player game are happy now.

Anyway I still have lots of fun with the game and since it came out I didnt play anything else though I just started batman: arkham city and had a 4x character in skyrim when swtor was released.
Somehow the Star Wars feeling keeps it going, however the atmosphere is not as strong as in kotor 1-2.
Well I would give a 8/10.

The story lines are better then any other mmo, the cut scene voice acting is great for the amount of voice acting there is. Plus bioware is actually trying to fix the problems as quickly as possible. It was adopted by a bigger company who forced a early release to hit before the holidays, and they werent ready for it. They will admit it but you cant judge a game on its release. WoW was shit when it first came out, look what it grew too at its peak. Guild wars 2 will be shit at release as well, but if the development team sticks with it and they fix the problems it will get better.

kids educating people on vocal hatred. go take a gander at the actual SWToR forums. A LOT of people cancelling subs and being vocal.

Everyone tries to pull the WoW argument and I'm not really sure why.
The budget was 6x was WoW was, 8 years ago.

You literally listed nothing innovative, you said what every other person says.

"It has a good story and voice acting"

There has been plenty of games with a story, and with voice acting. (they didnt have to spend 200 million to do it either..)

Is that really enough to hold up the rest of the weight in this diaper everyone is calling an mmo?..



I'll even give it to you, the voice acting is good. That doesn't mean the dialogue is good. The quality of the sound is good. The fact the sound exists is good, but the contents? They are pretty flat. Maybe if they didn't go into overkill with them so you actually want to stick around and listen when one is good...

The story? Oh haha you flirted with me and you dont want me to kill a bunch of innocent people, lets bang and I won't kill them. (bioware thinks sex is a good replacement for currency I guess? I'm not really sure what the hell they're thinking to be honest)

Maybe its just the Sith Warrior story, but what I ran into was simply boring, stiff, and dull at best. Sure as hell not good enough to convince me to level another character while I wait on basic game functions to start working.




Its just a vocal minority, thats why there is literally hundreds of posts per day on the subject, during me typing this theres probably been 3 more i quits. I did some quick math yesterday and if the average poster in that forum posts 20 times, and even 50% of them are negative, you've got about 440 grand at risk per month at risk. Don't worry though, they don't matter.
