Woohoo, I can't wait! :D Still 3 months away, but at least it wasn't pushed back to next year. Plus there won't be hundreds of posts whining about the game never coming out on the forum

I'm curious as to how early the people who pre-ordered will get in though. I'd say between 1-2 weeks. 10 days is my guess due to the extra $5 we paid for preordering, which is 1/3 of the monthly cost (and thus, 1/3 of the days).
30 days

. If you preorder it you will gain the ability to receive a digital copy 30 days before the release to the general public.

looks like an epic game, although i havent looked in to it much...
what other games does it compare to?
does it use loads of items like diablo, or skillsets like guildwars or even something totally different like coh?
WoW and the Knights of the Old Republic games are the comparison models. First and foremost it will be story driven. The idea is to create an MMORPG that draws you in, one where you are able to enjoy a story and follow quests solo. Beyond that there are quests that require 5+ people to complete along with various raids in the WoW fashion. These quests and raids will follow a story arc that adds to the game. Each character has 3 skill trees that will changed depending on the Advanced Class they choose at lvl 10. There will be gear and the ability to craft weapons and armor. Also, there are different PvP arenas that go from a TDM to CTF and Sabatoge.
They are also implementing some sort of allies/adversaries type of system for the guilds. I am not 100% sure how that will function in-game. All in all this game proves to set a new standard for future MMO's
