And as a contribution to the thread, I stopped playing SWTOR when I hit lvl 50 and found I had to grind daily quests for better gear before I could even sample any end game content. No thank you very much! I hope they improve the game in a reasonable timely manner to bring everyone back, it had a huge potential to be great.

Thats not exactly accurate. You can get three pieces of gear from dailies, and you can very easily start HM FPs and SM OPs before you get them. They help, yes, but they are a completely skippable step if you choose. Is this your first MMO? Not trying to be rude, but the gear grind is kind of a big thing in all MMOs.

Maybe its just my server (Wall of Light - Sith) but after a few days of trying to get people on general, in my guild and even friends to group with me for HMs I was told no one would take me unless I had all purple high ilvl end game gear or the group will be a complete wipefest. Maybe going to try Repub since they don't seem to have such bad population issues. And nah, I'm an avid wow player, and honestly I've probably just been spoiled by the leveling system, being able to dungeon queue most the way to 85 and now straight into raiding! I do remember the old days of summoning stones and LFG channel, tho I can't really say I miss it haha.

can we all agree that d3 sucks atleast?

I switch between d3 and swtor, but they both have been pretty disappointing. I mean no pvp in d3 is a huge failure. But at least you are playing with thousands of people. For SWTOR however the server i am on is so low population that there is FOUR guilds raiding imperial side, and republic side is completely dead. At a certain point playing with the same 50-100 people total gets real boring.

Fun factor over population factor.
