It's primarily because there's a lot of credit sinks right now. Inventory upgrades, bank upgrades, speeder training, skills, crafting, equipment; there's a LOT of things your credits can go to.

But it's also because the game is new and there's a lot of people just starting out with nothing. The economy hasn't yet been fully established, so you have people who can capitalize on it. I've actually seen a few buyers. My personal ratio is 1:200, but I don't think anybody plays on my server, Warriors of the Shadow.

If you don't want to spend your FG on credits, just farm them yourself. It's not difficult. I didn't spend one gold and I've got 500k to my name and ALL my upgrades/training/skills/equipment acquired.

This ratio is ridiculous Ive seen people go from 100k to 500k in 3 days! 3 days of playing SWTOR is worth 10,000 Fg? So wrong..

Game is new, there is no market standard yet.
If it's the same in a month then start farming credits for FG and buy credits back after the market corrects itself.

Yeah right now the ratio is out of hand. At 50 it's easy to make credits. This isn't world of warcraft. It's not gold from that game.

That being said if you are ok with that ratio go ahead and waste your forum gold.
