Hey I didnt know 14 year old conspriacy theorist anime lovers could be in college. The fact you dont realize why user reviews are useless is he funniest part.

And as someone who has actually studied the subject of accounting/business/marketting, which you may want to look into.

You would realize that user based reviews garner more sales by viral marketing than those of paid critic status.

100 small user reviews stating that a game is good or bad is far more powerful than a large review from a paid critic.

No they arent. Review sites are there for a reason, because their opinions are respected. People that give a game a bad score and then have a small badly typed "review" have no effect on a buyer.

MW3 has some of the worst user review scores ever for a game yet its one of the best selling games of all time and has millions of people playing it. How did user reviews affect that game huh? How come every major game has scores of negative user reviews? Is there no good games?

Good games often get good critic reviews, they get good and bad user reviews but not at a 50/50 ratio.


It is funny because I mentioned CoD before in response to you stupidly stating ME2 got better reviews that ME1 so it was better. Funny how you mention it now..... CoD gets good reviews because it is still a good game, but the same game from 6 years ago, kind of like how SWToR is using graphics that are beyond dated, and an engine that runs like a bulldozer down a back alley.

Anyway..... maybe I'll post some scanned pictures from my textbooks to educate you.

You did not address CoD. CoD is almost entirely negative user reviews but that didnt do anything to sales, so why would SWTOR lose sales when its not even close to that. ME2 is considered one of the best games of all time, and it also has extremely positive user reviews. But we've already established you have shit taste in games so this is irrevelent.

User reviews dont affect sales, and they sure as hell dont effect developers.
