I've played EQ, WoW, DAoC, Rift, Anarchy Online, SWToR, Aion, AC2 and probably a few in between that I'm not remembering and can honestly tell you that I'm not ecstatic, better yet... interested in the slightest, in GW2. I'm happy you are, but I can honestly tell you that not one person in my guild that I've been playing with for years have even brought it up. Such a highly anticipated game would definitely have been on my radar. Still waiting for D3 to come out... and the rest won't matter. Underwater fighting was already in game back when EQ was out. It isn't revolutionary.

maybe it was in EQ, but not so much in depth like in GW2.

Have you even took 1 hour of your time to research the game alittle? Just see what it really has to offer

You know, most MMO's you play, you just want to get into endgame, you lvl as fast as you can.

in GW2, the game is actually endgame from the beginning. You fight these awesome bosses, you can even sidekick your level 80 warrior down to level 10 to experience the events in that low level area or just to play with friends.

the game is much more social than any MMO out there. There is no kill stealing, no ninja looting, no need to choose what faction your in, everyone is on the same team.

Far more balanced PvP than any MMO, really fast and team orientated.

How come you can't see all the awesome aspect's the game has to offer?

Or are you like a friend of mine: ''It's not a RPG! They dont have Holy Trinity with TANK, HEALER, DPS, How can they call it a MMORPG!?!? I wont play that!''

It's a niche MMO, and you'll see for yourself. Every game site said SWTOR was the most anticipated MMO ever, not just of the year. Sites always hype every major MMO. Everyone will see that when it comes out.

So, your not open to the idea that you might be surprised and everything you said was wrong?

Because, the game isn't even out yet.

I think the people that buy it will love it, but its a niche MMO and the appeal isn't there longterm for most gamers.

what about gw2 dosen't appeal for ya?

I mean, grind aspects gone,
more social than any mmo,
NO MONTHLY FEE (so you can take a break and come back easily),
fast paced combat, where you can dodge attacks etc.
list goes on and on.

What they need to do, before someone like you would love it
