i played WoW for a few months before finding out this game was coming out and i got REALLY excited. from what ive noticed, swtor has a WAY better story line. and tbh, i dont even kno the storyline in Wow.

i got really put off when i heard there was pvp in the game because i thought it was gonna be like d2 pvp. i dont play pvp that much but it is somethin to do if u r lookin for something to do.

one thing you do need to be aware of is, your system NEED to meet the "recommended" specs. my video card in my laptop is one bracket below the recommended and its choppy in places. if you have a good rig and u r lookin for a good time on the computer, buy this game.

Saying another mmo is a clone of wow is like saying every car is a clone of another just cuz it has 4 wheels and a motor, its silly unfounded and proves u have the awareness of a potato..

It is a different game in general, it has similar mechanics to wow just like an fps has similar mechanics to another fps....... thats why its called Genre... gosh i wish people stopped using this argument.. makes me want to punch them in the face with a burning chair..

I'm a huge wow fan and this games way better as far as storyline goes. with wow u click accept pwn hogger and get exp. With swtor you get a quest tell buddy to shove it go rape shit and get loot.. or you can be nice about it... I prefer to be a douche though

if u are a casual player, go for it, but for spending hours every day it sucks, you reach very fast valor rank 60 and pve is fucking boring/easy in this game.

people can be lvl 60 valor in less than a week now with Ilum.

1 kill = 200 valor pts, that fucking lame.

All true battlemaster are pissed of this, because its take like 10 day of gameplay to be a real battlemaster, now badies can done it with only ilum and can be gear with all green/blue stuff.

It isn't a stupid argument at all, and is quite valid. Aside from the story, there is very little that separates SWTOR from WoW. And SWTOR certainly doesn't do anything better.
