now, its really fast paced, healing isnt like WoW at all. Im full heal spec sith sorc, and my heals dont hit like they do in WoW. In WoW, you could pop all sorts of shit and keep one person up vs 2/3 people NP if they arent focusing you. In SWTOR, you no longer need to focus the healer, cause to put it simply, two people beating on somebody cant easily out dps a healers heals. No mortal strike needed. My heals are slow and dont heal for much. I have a skill called resurgence that acts like Ripetide did from WoW, in BG's it heals for around 600 non crit, and ticks for 250 non crit, crits being 50% more heal. If you know anything about BG's in SWTOR you know a 1.5k+ crit is not uncommon at all, so one crit from any skill pretty much, can totally negative my entire resurgence. Secondly, my big heal, which can crit for like 3.5k, take 2.5seconds to cast, and my other heal, which heals for like 1800 crit, takes 1.5secs to cast, but costs almost the same amount of force. So atm, i can spam heal one person, and keep em up somewhat well, but i good out of force in no time, or try to be mana conservant and possibly end up letting the person die. Once im higher level the mana issues to some extent will go away, but thats like lvl 40ish.
But long story short, cordinated teams can easily drop people, its fast paced, healers are OP (well they are in pugs when people are training other people together), also the CC is crazy in this game.
