I've been wanting to get into MMOs for years now but have been avoiding them due to how addicting they can be, I am doing a lot of school atm, and monthly fees. I have heard mixed reviews on this game and I figured I'd ask people who play it. I've heard it's very much a single player game in that no one really teams together like they do in WoW. I haven't ever played either so I am divided between the two.

I'd recommend it, if you can look past the shitty graphics, there's good endgame fun to be had in case that's what you're looking for. I play only 1 character for the same reasons as you do. It's F2P now, with many restrictions to f2p players mind you, so you can at least play it a little bit, tho I'd highly recommend you just fork the 15 for the sub, as f2p restrictions REALLY are detrimental to the experience.

Skip it unless you love the absolute #*&% out of Star Wars

The storyline missions are fun, the general leveling is awful, the PvP is (mostly) good, and the raids are medium to good. The engine will make you stab babies

Yeah. I wanted to get it two years ago but I didn't have a PC. The only PC I DID have could barely run D2 at the time. I am becoming a hardcore star wars fan with the books lately so I might check it out.

I am not big Star Wars fun but enjoy this game very much. It has best story by far from all MMO's (played most of them). Every class on each side has it's own story 4 classes two sides gives you 8 nice stories to play for free for this you don't have to pay sub. If you are into proper PVP or PVE i would advise to Sub. Pvp had better days before they have too small team to manage proprly arenas but still warzones( wow bg's) are much better. PVE i heard is good but don't have amount content Wow has.
Is it worth it ? 100% it is f2p you can have all story and have a blast + pvp and classes are really done very good and graphic is on good level much much better then wow.

That is the opposite of what I have been hearing form other people. Interesting.

Try it for f2p if you want and I did not meet single person who said that story is not best in all mmo because it is Bioware maker of few good rpg's. I find it on par with good Rpg. One tip stick until lvl 10 about if you like fine if not then oh well. I did not like it at first played 20 minutes but my friend was playing so I went ok until level 10 I survive :) and playing since then ( about 6 months). Remeber this is different then all other mmo's you get story like it or not :). For me is number 2 MMO on market better is only WOW ( i dont play it anymore but is much more polished). GW2 is also good but lots of friends and myself cannot play it for some reason.

Both games offer free trials. Swtor has a sub model and a free model too

No harm in trying it, the leveling is great. I havent played since the first tier of content, but I do remember enjoying the low-mid level range.

I played this from day 1 to max level within the first 6 months of the game. If you love star wars you'll love this. It has alot of good writing also.

If you don't..I really don't recommend it I'm sure you can find something more stimulating that you will enjoy.
