not really no, it changes abit

you need to kill more mobs to get "inside" to your quest aka grinding that's aroud it

i just got into that zone (lvl 41 atm) and i doesnt take very long to ding, especially if you are doing pvp and space combat dailies.

guy in my guild went from 40 to 44 today

I am playing smuggler - Scoundrel as advanced class, and I would say it makes a huge difference. I took all my levels in 2-2.5 hours from lvl 31.

I did 31-39 my first geek day in holidays, 39-45 2. day, 45-50 last day.

Was pretty easy and now I rerolled healer and I am glad I have stealth so I can skip a lot of mobs in dailies

My friend was complaining that the only thing that made it slower was that he has to go long ways for one quest. But he just got to a new planet and said its better.
