You are absolutely right . My bad .
EU, PC. Tamriel patch ( i dont know if that makes any difference )
well can't help you with pc as I am on xbox
When making a character keep in mind, you will have to select priority for you character: Damage dealer (DPS, DD), Healer, or Tank
Races/Classes are as follows:
Dragonknights -> Meta tanks
Imperial -> best race for main tanks extra resource pools
Agonian -> close 2nd best tank race/best off tank race due to potion system resource management passives you get with argonians
Nord/Orc/Dark Elf/Breton -> Can tank but are not really tank races
Healers:
Templars -> Meta healers
Argonians/High Elfs -> best healer races
Breton/Dark Elf -> close 2nd
Damage dealers:
Magicka metas:
High Elf/Dark Elf -> both good, Dark Elfs are best for magicka dks due to fire dmg buff/but high elf gives you more magicka recov, both good
Stamina metas:
Redguard/Khajit
for pvp woodelf probably best, especially ganking setups, all good races, could also go with orc but its just up to you
Again its all just meta races, if you like to play orc go ahead and heal with orc, you can buy race change at any time if you planning on participating in end-game community, it will be long time before you will be able to do that though
lvling system:
There are 50 lvls before you hit champion point rank, once you hit champion point rank it goes up like lvls and unlocks a passive system that will buff your attributes according to the way you set them to (like in Skyrim), champion points also give you small boosts of health/stamina/magicka every time you gain one. Cap of CP at the moment is 600, next patch it will be 630.
Horse system:
Every day you can train a horse, speed/stamina/extra space, you can start training your horse before you even have a horse, training system is character wide so it applies to every mount you have.
other tips
You can travel between wayshrines for free, you only pay to travel to one if you're not at another
Don't worry about gear till you are cp rank 160, game automatically will scale you up, and make you strong enough to complete quests without best gear
You can join up to 5 guilds, guild leader can bid for a guild trader, there is no one big auction house, you have to travel from trader to trader to look what each guild is selling, you can travel to players in your guild for free, just go to guild list and choose travel to player
Also youtube eso add-ons, we don't have them on console but they are huge help
