I understand its an mmo and Ive played just about every mmo. But as someone who really enjoyed morrowind and skyrim should I buy ESO?

My 10/25 man groups from wow etc are too old now so I wouldn't be looking to raid or do much group pve content.

Hows the pvp, is there world pvp or just battlegrounds?

Is the story/leveling worth the price tag if I wouldn't be raiding?

Thanks in advance for any input.

I am gonna buy ESO in a few days.. I wouldn't mind leveling up or playing with other noobs.....

now that I know subscription fee is optional, I will be playing it for free (minus the price of buying)
anyways I was wondering too about guild events and raid groups... but I love skyrim and wouldn't mind playing the first char solo because I want to know all the story/lore

You can do all the quest lines solo. Tons of hours of solo quests.

You choose a campaign in pvp. But it's open world within that campaign. Capturing keeps with siege equipment. Tons of people play pvp.

Group dungeons you will not be able to do solo. Max of 4 people. Rolling with 4 people isn't bad. Learn to work together and have someone to chat with during the dungeon.

ESO is a good game but it is different from morrowind and skyrim. In my opinion it's not as in depth as the other games. It's like a generic version of skyrim.

NO YOU CANT, CRAGLORN REQUIRES 4 PEOPLE, JESUS U DUMB
PVP IS MOSTLY DEAD NOW WITH STUPID IC EXPANSION, PLAYERS NOW INTERESTED IN GRINDING OUT RUBEDITES MORE THAN PVPING. ADD IN STUPID CHANGES TO PVP WHICH MAKES UNDER lvl 50 anything A TANK REGARDLESS OF THEIR BUILD AND STAT PLACEMENT AND HUGE DAMAGE REDUCTION ON EVERYTHING AND PVP IS POOPY CONTEST OF WHO ROLLS WITH BIGGER ZERG.

GROUP DUNGEONS ARE ALWAYS 4 PEOPLE AS NORMAL DUNGEONS ARE NOT WORTH DOING EXCEPT FOR THE QUESTS+1 SKILL POINT.

MOST GUILDS ARE JUST BUNCH OF LOSERS WHO TALK OVER EACH OTHER, PLAY NIGGER MUSIC (CONSOLE) AND RETARDED 15 YEAR OLDS, ALL ABOUT FINDING DECENT GUILD WITH 60-90 PEOPLE IN IT, DONT JOIN NIGGER VILLAGES OF 300+

ESO IS NOTHING LIKE SKYRIM OR ELDER SCROLLS IN GENERAL. ITS A WOW WITH ELDER SCROLLS WORLD BADLY TAPED ON TOP OF IT.

Okay, let the kid cry as much as he wants xD
ESO is a really good game, and you can enjoy it playing solo.
Although, if you play alot, you'll get to a point where you need to be in small groups to continue.
ESO, with the new expansion, has a mix of PvP and PvE which is really nice because you can play with a couple friends, just farming some monsters
But since it's in a PvP area, you still need to be careful of other players :P
Still, if you really don't want to play ''online'' you can still enjoy a great part of the game.

Game has huge solo questing contents, you probably play 90% of the game solo anyways, and 10% of it is dungeons and PvP with other people. But don't compare it to Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind, it just doesn't have the same combat feeling and nothing that will amaze you. But still a good game to buy when it's on sale for less than $30 if you enjoy doing massive amount of questing.
