I liked the summoner in skyrim so I picked the dude that can summon in elder scrolls online. are they anygood? or what is the best class of character? I don't wanna character that isnt worth even playing as because there useless when get higher lvl. I am mor of a range or magic type gamestyle. I don't like getting up close n personal. and its for ps4 version is makes a difference

idk if you ment you wanna be summon oriented but anyways, summons by them self are not viable in eso. there more of just a extra perk with the class and to be honest they dont help much at all. if your looking for a class thats gonna work end game id go Imperial NB, stam bow build. they are one of the highest dps classes out there and can do all endgame dungeons and raids easily with the right build(temps and dks are also really good). but like i said if your gonna play a sorc and really want to, go for it, dont let me ruin the game for you as of right now they are the weakest class (but that could change in any update, so dont think leveling one is useless). you can always reroll your sorc to what ever build you want, just know that your summons dont do alot of damage, they take up a percentage of your mana with each one, and they arent like skyrim were they can do pretty much all the work for you.

Ps. id def start Night Blade, nothing is more frustrating then working super hard on a character, watching it do super well, then going into a end game raid to do absolutely sht. these end game raids such as Vet DSA and stuff are no joke. Its like running straight into a brick wall, they will make you rage quit hard if even 1 member of your gorup isnt pulling his weight. kinda sucks but this game doesnt support free building. people's builds tend to be very cookie cutter and similar to each others, with very little variation. All classes are viable but you will never pull higher dps then a NB or you will never heal as good as a temp and never tank as good as a Dragon knights, and thats the sad fact.

DK - best tanks, decent healers, prob 2nd best dps or tied with nb
Temp - Best healers decent tank decent dps(dps is close with dk)
NB - Decent tank, arguably the best dps(but close with dk and temp), and mediocre healing
Sorcs - Not the best in anything, use to be best in dps, best Aoe farmers i guess and easiest to level, but painfully mediocre in everything else

thank you. I am hoping they upgrade the sorcs abit too lol. ill make a DK for now I guess tho. already don't know what I am doing so don't wanna not know what I am doing any die every 2 seconds because I cant kill anything
