I played WOW, GW, GW2, LOTRO, and KOTOR.
Honestly, this is my favorite MMO yet.
Once you get a hang of the skill trees and itemization system you start to see how this game stands out.
The monsters fight back. They work together to make what could be a cookie-cutter fight into a very dynamic one.
The end-game material, and the end-game passive skill system, (champion points), make the possibilities near endless.
Get to level 20, then decide.
and take the time to follow the plots and quest-lines.
It really isn't a wow clone, the quests are all intertwined, and iteresting. Lots of fun.
Veteran ranks (the levels gained after max level 50) don't quite fit,
however, they are removing them soon and replacing them with another system.
All in all, it was shotty and clunky to start but they listened to players and worked out a lot of kinks, completely remaking some parts of the game.
PvP is still clunky and irritating at times but I'm lvl50 vr3 and have never felt pushed into doing the pvp at all.
barely even touched it actually.
