I played during the beta or w/e and hated it. as a super fan of the franchise I was curious if it was worth giving a second chance

i dont know what it was like then i play it. been about 6 months now. although i have been playing d2 alot this ladder season reset. but getting back into eso now. its ok they fixed some bugs with horse when you cant jump over things .
i still get the occasional error msg where i have to send an erorr report to eso

The beta was meh but i did like it. I started 1 week ago and i'm having a lot of fun besides a few bugs and the non existing dungeon finding tool..

Nope, games shit imo. 1 week in and everyone was duping for high end mats.
then dupe fixed = people with mass high mats, took the fun out of the game.

Grinded to 1VR and decided to quit

you can't say the game is shit if you've only played 1/4 of it lol. Games pretty sweet now, coming out with a big update this month too.

pve is pretty good pvp is ridiculous waste of a chance to be best ever

This is relevant to my interests.

Grinded to VR 12 back when Anomalies was a thing. Also had a full roster of Hireling alts since first week to feed my main legendary mats.

Long story short, I hit VR 12, crafted myself a full set of legendary gear, and proceeded to be bored with the game.

The fact that I was not able to farm better gear than that which I crafted gave me no reason to pursue "raiding". The pvp was fun, for a time.

Has anything changed since those days?

the point is there is no best ever, even emperors fall. Everyone dies, everyone can kill, pvp is fantastic because there is no "noob" and there is no "god."




Yeah they have the dragonstar arena, trials, and undaunted pledges that all get you different gear that is badass. And cap is vr14, 1.6 will be out soon, then Tamriel Unlimited will be out and that'll be prime. New content (zones, quests, etc.) will be added that will scale to level so you don't need to be the level cap in godly godly gear to play those parts of the game, and much more customization than previously. And pvp is amazing if you play with a small group of people and can take shit, there was one time when my vr5 templar grouped with a 2 vr14 dragonknights and took a keep, with 3 people. It was challenging and interesting and really, really rewarding.
