I personally love the elder scroll series
My next tax return I'm gonna buy a new comp

I've been reading online that it's pretty laggy/glitchy and that it's mostly pvp
Don't get me wrong I love pvp but I'm a raider at heart. I love to heal as well

I watched a few videos that were what I'd call a dungeon run and tbh it looked fun but I prefer at least Mabey runs with ten or more people. Any idea if in the future they may add more "raid" content, as I feel pvp will burn me out rather fast.

While I admit I play and love WoW, I'm not expecting it to be anything like ESO nor would I wanna play it if it were.

Just looking for some honest real opinions, not looking for spam. Just lmk what's up is it getting better or worse??? Should I buy or not even bother???? Lmk

Currently lots of plans in the works. Kinda felt like the past 3 months have been a unofficial beta for the console release. You can come join the fun in August and not really miss much, aside from pre farming your gear, money , etc.

I'm kinda upset ESO is pretty dull atm, prob wouldn't play if i didn't have trials to do. PvP has gotten rather boring, tho I usually play 30 mins minimum when i log in. Can be pretty fun solo or in group.

I'd suggest to pick it up if your looking for something to play right NOW... grind out your levels at least to start.

I'm also founder in Arche Age and will be switching over to that because it is simply amazing. Coming out f2p and free 2 download... obv subbing will have its perks but what you can do in arche (not to mention 140 invested into it for 3 months) but so many cool things in that game.

ESO - 7/10 , could become 8 or 9 depending on what they implement over the next few patches, they lost about 50% of player base if not more (end game wise)

Idk I love this game. Leveling to 50 is super fun and people whine a bunch about vet content but I don't think its bad at all. And the pvp is super nifty too.

Not disagreeing with you on the fun aspect. I've just been playing since beta and early access. We now have 3rd best time on AA, best time since the DK nerf.

PvP is .. incomplete. Yes it gives you a whole area to run around and take emperor but its very skill-less in the grand scheme of things (23 bots in a group led by 1 living person)

It needs arenas or some form of stat tracker like trials do.

Patch 1.3 will be the start of a lot more content coming out - basically the game will actually look like a complete game shortly.

On the other hand I've been following AA for a few years. Bought the alpha and ab so lute ly love it. I even play on taking 2-3 days off work for release. But I find sandbox + PvP + interactive world > whatever you want to call ESO.

AA has some neat features that will either draw you to the game or turn you away. IE - You can have a pirate ship, sail it, capture other ships, sink them or have your whole guild on 1 ship. Gliders, you can fly over walls. Onto ships ... etc. Super fun to just "glide". You can have a house, a variety of farms (needed to craft your ship, glider, gear, etc), a castle (solo but most likely guild since it takes forever to build). Taxes on land, so if you don't pay people will come to kill you. You drop loot on death - not gold or gear , but crafting stuff. There is mounted combat and when you dismount your horse stays with you, so you can gank, remount and run off. Horse also helps you in battle (some skills bounce off of it). You can PK your own factiion, and if caught you go to jail. You can steal, loot and destroy pretty much anything player made, enemy, friend , wife or your babies. You are not stuck playing in the water, on land or flying. You can farm your whole AA time if you really wanted. Total sandbox to a degree. Tons more stuff as well.

ESO players on launch = 1 to 1.8 mil (graciously) tops
AA players in ALPHA = 1.5 mil subs

So numbers kinda show where the players wanna be, many will return to ESO come 1.3 and 1.4 and 1.5 patches

Yeah. It certainly isn't the best game or the game it could be, but I have a good time and probably will until I get a few chars 100% completed with the game, which will probably take a year or so.
