ESO ofc

its talked about all the time on ESO Official forums. It looks like the D3 forums did right before D3 tanked off the face of the earth. This game is fast behind it. Its pretty sad too. This game had lots of potential.

why is this game dying?

i dont think its "dyeing" just Repetitive atm. Personally I have faith in the game because you pay $14.99 a month for the game so just like World of Warcraft, the creators will continue to work on and improve the game.
I just got back into the game and am having alot of fun. Level 50 Sorcerer now but when I quit I got to level 35 Dragon Knight tank. They've continued to add content.
I say Just have faith in the game because it is bound to only get better as time progresses.

Up to you to play it, but I would start now so you understand most of the Mechanics of the game so while they add new content your not to far behind.

Oh I play it, I also constantly check these forums to see if anyone has anything actually useful to say about the game. ESO's boards are full of a lot of crap, about how the game should be, about what they want in/out of the game, but no one actually talks about the technical aspects of it, even though it doesn't give you much usable info to calc dps/ehp and stuff like spellweaving and what skills can/can't be used for it. I really like the game but no one is talking about stuff that I think matters, just how the game should/could/would be.

The recent patch contained 12 gb, so it IS definately going forward

Game is in a bad place ppl just waiting for improvements. As am I. Pvp is pretty god awful and that's all I care about.

Is the pvp really that bad? On paper is seems simple enough and chained well, I guess the game is less balanced than I thought.

I think the main reason the pvp is god awful, is because there is almost no reward for it. I don't want to spend a lot of hours in a game, training my skills and getting better, when there is no reward down the road.

Seriously, if they were to implement some sort of reward system, this game would skyrocket in popularity via pvp. The biggest complaint about TESO = pvp, and the lack of the reward system.

PvP is fun but aside from pursuing emperor there is really no rhyme or reason to do it.
I don't like zerg pvp. Half the time I run out solo and look for solo fights. Very hard to find as 99% group or zerg.

THEN when I do group with my PvP guild, we do things right. Our 20 + zerg (usually no pugs) ends up taking out 2-3 times the size forces. There is no way to guarantee challenge in PvP with this system. I'd gladly go 20 v 40 and be with 20 good players than in a zerg of 40. 3 bars of AD to 1 bar of DC (and 2 bars of EP) and DC comes out on top. So it is nice to see skill > numbers ... but taking keeps in a circle is still very shitty PvP. Not to mention defense is just cake.


I wanted arenas - ZOS said they wanted to work on cyrodil pvp and no arenas.

I could honestly give two shits about getting rewards from PvP. I don't PvP to get loot. But I'd also like be able to show some prowess - something like open PvP tournaments like GW2 had. Arenas are fun. Idc if 60% of the PvPs don't want a "wow like" arena. Instanced combat of 12v12 (or any number) I know many people would love - would def stop people from complaining of the zerg pvp aspect. PvP Leaderboards.... not of how much walls you can repair but of skilled PvP (ie wins / loss rec , weekly wins, etc).

2014 and you can't even duel in this MMO. FUCKING FAIL

Game is great tho, ZOS is slowly getting this balanced class wise. Hopefully bugs will resolve. The make or break is what content comes out. They obviously want to release PvE shit... so I'm pretty certain TESO will fade away.

Luckily Arche Age is coming up tho! Sandbox boner is the best kind of PvP boner to get!!!!!!!
