Nightblade isn't included because no real aoe.

I see more templars than sorcs.

Probably Sorc.
Templars still have their purposes though.

So if I wanted to make another char as a breton go for sorc breton?

Imo, Breton or High Elf

dark elf makes good vamp mage as well (if vamp is in your plans)

dark elf - extra fire dmg, extra magicka and fire rez


and NB has AoEs .... two ults and one each in shadow/siphoning/assassination - path / drain / lotus fan

NB will take their AoE from weapon skills.... IE - DW has 3 AoEs .... Bow has at least 2 and 2H does splash 1-2 targets.

No reason NB can't AoE.

As for the best, all depends on what you're trying to do.....

I like to do sneak crits... NB excels at that. So far 2100 single target crit and just over 5k for 2x targets (2.5k per)


Of course, what you're trying to say is ... now that DK is going to be nerfed, whats the next best class I can stand in a pack of 20-50 enemies and own.Hopefully they FIX it and each class is =/= and able to kill each other. For example as a basically pure dmg / low CC NB build as hard as I hit - can't take down a HA templer who is equally geared - without Death Stroke equipped. I like the counters being in the skills and skill of player - not FOTM shit.

as to the question - both
templer / templar - get heals for any build, same damage as any other class
sorc - get to fly (blink) , can kill anyone, good CC

50/50 to me , comes down to what core skills you want access too imo
