I usually area farm (fastest way to level up), there are guides on google.

The Mobs will drop your level of gear, and at 20 or so you can start getting sets which are awesome.

Plus you can sell all your unwanted gear to vendor, or in Zone chat. I have had staffs sell for 1k+

/e Btw welcome to ESO!

Thanks dude. When you go to a vendor and they have green items, are those set items? They are ~300 gold for a level 10. Are they worth it?

nah you will be surprised on how much you level

The set items will specifically say Set underneath the name of the item. you can collect 3-5 items for different passives.

green = magic items (like blues in diablo 2 if you like, or greens in WoW)

don't ever buy gear from vendor, grind mobs your level you will have full set of items in under 30mins and they will actually already be enchanted, unlike the ones on vendor :)
